Showing a Blu-Ray or DVD (Youth Room)

Note: The Youth Room equipment can play Blu-Rays in addition to DVDs. (some of the small classrooms can only show DVDs, not Blu-Rays.)

1. Bring your disc to the AV closet.

2. Locate the Blu-Ray/DVD player in the equipment rack.

3. If the Blu-Ray/DVD player isn't on, turn it on and put your disc in the player.

4. Find the touchscreen in the equipment rack. If you see the screen below, the group before you left the system on. Turn the system off so we can start fresh.

5. Hit the big start button.

6. Turn the projector on using the button on the left side of the screen.

7. In the center section, select "Blu-Ray".

8. Volume can be adjusted using the "Source Volume" control on the right side of the screen.

When finished:

  1. On the upper right of the touchscreen, hit the red "System Shut Down" and confirm.

  2. Remove your disc from the player. You may leave the player on.

Troubleshooting

Blu-Ray/DVD player is unresponsive

  • Go to the AV closet. Press and hold the Blu-Ray/DVD player's power button for fifteen seconds to force a shutdown.
