Using the Permanently Installed Desktop Computer (Parish Hall)
Locate the AV control touchscreen. When you're looking at the stage, it is in a white casing on the wall just right of the stage:
2. If the touchscreen is black, tap it to wake it up. Do you see the screen below? If so, press SHUTDOWN and confirm so that we can start fresh.
3. Press START
4. Turn the projector on with PROJECTOR ON button, and bring the screen down with the SCREEN DOWN button. In the list of sources, select "Closet PC".
5. Go to the AV closet near the stage. Locate the computer and make sure it is turned on (power light illuminated). Turn it on if necessary.
6. Locate the computer keyboard. It is usually stored in the closet, but it's also sometimes placed on/under the podium or in the AV equipment rack drawer. Ensure the keyboard power is turned on (the switch is on the back lip of the keyboard).
7. Computer volume can be adjusted using the volume buttons on the computer keyboard as well as the "Source Volume" control on the right side of the touchscreen.
When finished:
Turn off computer and keyboard. Return keyboard to closet.
On the touchscreen, hit the "SYSTEM SHUTDOWN" button and confirm.
