Using the Permanently Installed Desktop Computer (Parish Hall)
Go to the AV closet near the stage. Locate the computer and make sure it is turned on (power light illuminated). Turn it on if necessary.
2. Locate the computer keyboard. It is usually stored in the closet, but it's also sometimes placed on/under the podium or in the AV equipment rack drawer. Ensure the keyboard power is turned on (the switch is on the back lip of the keyboard).
3. Locate the touchscreen. When you're looking at the stage, it is in a white casing on the wall just right of the stage:
4. If the touchscreen is black, tap it to wake it up. Do you see the screen below? If so, press SHUTDOWN and confirm so that we can start fresh.
5. Press START
6. In the list of sources, select "Closet PC" and turn the projector on with PROJECTOR ON button.
7. Computer volume can be adjusted using the "Source Volume" control on the right side of the touchscreen.
When finished:
Return all equipment back.
On the touchscreen, hit the "SYSTEM SHUTDOWN" button and confirm.
