Locate the DVD remote and turn on the DVD player.
Locate the TV remote and turn on the TV.
The TV's auto-input function will automatically change to the DVD player as long as the DVD player is on. (If it switches to something else, disconnect any laptops that are connected to the wall plate until you're done showing your DVD. The TV prioritizes connected laptops over the DVD player.)
Ensure that the DVD player is on.
Ensure that the TV source is set to "DVD Player"
Look on the back of the DVD player and ensure someone did not disconnect it.
If any laptops are plugged in, disconnect them until you're done showing your DVD. The TV prioritizes connected laptops over the DVD player.
Grab the TV remote and press the "Audio Input" button on the lower right. A status blurb will appear on the upper right of the TV when you press it. Try pressing the button multiple times to cycle through the various options until you hear the DVD's sound:
Look on the back of the DVD player and make sure all cables are plugged in.
Point the remote towards the right side of the screen. The sensor is by the power light.
Find a staff member and we will help you get new batteries. (Batteries are replaced regularly, so this isn't typically necessary.)
