Using the Microphones (Parish Hall)
Locate the touchscreen. When you're looking at the stage, it is in a white casing on the wall just right of the stage:
2. If the touchscreen is black, tap it to wake it up. Do you see the screen below? If so, press SHUTDOWN and confirm so that we can start fresh.
3. Tap START.
4. Grab the microphone you need. One handheld and one lapel microphone can be found in the drawer in the large black equipment rack by the large cabinets. Both mics can be used simultaneously.
5. Turn on the microphone and make sure the mic's power light is green. If it is red or does not turn on at all, replace the batteries. Fresh batteries are kept in the plastic container in the drawer.
6. To adjust volume, go to the touchscreen and use the Mic/Bluetooth volume controls on the right side of the touchscreen.
When finished:
Turn microphones off and return them to the drawer in the equipment rack.
On the touchscreen, hit the "SYSTEM SHUTDOWN" button and confirm.
